Return of Simple Rabbit

by Chloe Adeline on 3 September 2011

Dear Rabbits,

I have delightful news! It’s been a time since the last update—exactly one year actually—and now, Simple Rabbit is starting up again!

Things may feel a little different. You might like the new incarnation more, less, or not even notice a difference. If it makes you smile, I’ll smile. If not, I’ll smile.

Part of the reason for the hiatus was that I was feeling pressured down paths I didn’t care for. So if you want to learn how to break daily into a state of “ultimate flow and creativity,” you’re probably in the wrong place. Likewise, I don’t care much to write about counting possessions, making money online, productivity, or how to best organize a closet.

On the other hand, I do care to learn about happiness, community, and common sense. I care about this amazing cup of coffee and whether I can work up the courage to talk to that cute, awkward girl at the dinner party. I care about discovering what is sacred. I care about knowing myself, my place in the world, and how to grow.

So maybe Simple Rabbit never strayed too far from the path.

As for authorship, Loy is planning on writing more often while I’m thinking of taking more of a back-seat editors role. But we’ll see how things turn out.

Either way, Simple Rabbit has been and always will be about rabbits and simplicity. If you’d like, come along!

And welcome back to the Simple Rabbit Society!

I was pleased to see your post in my email…welcome back. I’ve been struggling with some of the same issues and haven’t been a very good blogger or web writer of late. Mostly, I think I need a structured schedule and I can’t quite figure out how to create it. That sounds kind of lame but there you are…

I find your posts very comforting…soothing, even, and inspiring at the same time. Thanks!
